Ideenlabor
The Ideenlabor (Ideas Lab) is a room for trying out and putting into practice innovative teaching and learning scenarios. This room is particularly suited to stimulating active learning, collaborative activities and exchange.
Why teaching in the Ideenlabor?
Not just words: in the Ideenlabor, learning content can be transmitted and processed through a variety of media. Define learing objectives - choose a suitable method - choose suitable media - set up the room; freely and flexibly, with or without furniture.
This is what our teachers say about it:
The room adjusts to your learning objectives.
The Ideenlabor made it possible to easily vary the method of instruction. In other rooms you wouldn't do that, as it would be too much effort to rearrange everything each time.
The space invites interaction.
More interaction. More inviting, to try new things. More exchange between students. The students are more awake and alert.
A change of environment encourages a change of perspective.
The variety is helpful from my point of view. Thanks to the physical changes, our topics could be viewed and explored from various perspectives, which promotes learning.
The room inspires active learning.
The students are less distracted by their electronic gadgets.
The students were more creative than in the traditional seminar rooms. They were bubbling with ideas and visibly had fun!
