Problem Solving and FAQ

Switching on

Check that the power cable is properly connected
Press the power button (located in the panel on top of the projector). Allow a few seconds for the beamer to switch on.

Connecting a laptop

The connector cable may have been pushed all the way into the casing: Open the casing by pressing and releasing the loudspeaker panel. Locate the cable inside the casing and feed it through the opening in the left side of the casing.

Use the main HDMI cable. An adapter for USB-C is attached to the cable.

The USB cable labeled 'computer' is needed only if you are using a camera or speaker attached to the Artome.

Use the panel inside the casing (source/search button) to select the appropriate data channel: for the HDMI cable, select HDMI1.

Projection

The Artome is a short-distance beamer. Move the projector closer to the wall, it should be between 5cm and 60cm from the projection surface.

Open the casing by gently pressing and releasing the loudspeaker panel. Use the focus handel to the sharpness of the image.

Adjust the position of the beamer:

  • Move the beamer forward/backward.
  • Rotate the beamer slightly so it faces the projection surface squarely.

There is an adjustment panel inside the casing. Press and release the loudspeaker panel to open the casing. Use the panel to zoom in or out.

Sound

  • Ensure the volume on both your laptop and the Artome is switched on and sufficiently loud.
  • Ensure you have selected the Artome as the sound output in your laptop settings.

For Apple computers, the volume needs to be changed directly on the Artome, there is no adjustment possible via HDMI.

The volume can be adjusted with the panel on top of the projector.
